This site explores the Java language, APIs and features. The goal is to both inspire and educate. The motivation for the articles are often curiosity in a particular topic, so that has shaped what is included, but also what is left out.

Jekyll / Markdown based static site generation makes it easy to maintain the site. GitHub Pages is used for hosting. The source for the site and all code can be found at github.com/hblok/rememberjava .

All source code published on the site is licensed under GPL 3 or a later version of the GPL license. (License for text articles is to be determined).

The old site, written between 2001 and 2006, including full Java code examples, can be found on the Internet Archive.
